The present study was designed for the total phenol content leaf and root .This study involving quantative determine of phenolic content using  folin-Ciocalteu method. Plants have been a extemplary source of medicinal, ayurveda ,traditional , triable medicine and other Indian literatures mention the uses of plants in the treatments of various human ailments . This plants is having great potential to cure the diseases like diabetes, cholesterol, diarrhohea, antibacterial, antifungal, and many more .The medicinal plants contain free radicals molecules such as phenols ,flavonoids ,vitamins, terpenoids that are rich antioxidant activity. The objective of present work production and evaluation of TPC of crude extract was measured by established Folin –Ciocalteau  regent method .The Total Phenol varied from Root &Leaf extract .The maximum Phenolic content was found in the alcoholic extract of Datur metel (L). of root , Semecarpus anacardium (L). of leaf. Considering these facts attempt was made to study total phenol content (TPC).

Keywords:
Biomass, Folin –Ciocalteu reagent , Medicinal plants, Total Phenol Content, Root & Leaf.
